khochme @pani_olenka @pani_olenka @pani_olenka when you are in your closet, you can share your listings to your followers at anytime by clicking on the 2 arrows at the bottom right of each listing. Share your followers listings and others who share yours by clicking on the feed and hitting the 2 arrows or in the news where it shows people who have shared your listings.

khochme @pani_olenka you don’t have to be invited to a listing. Everyone can attend and share their listings. You share the same way to a party as you do to followers but at 12 pm, 3pm, 7 pm and 10pm EST. For a duration of 2 hrs. But it will say share to party.

pani_olenka @khochme when I share my listing to party should I see my items on the list of party?I do not see them):Thanks!

khochme @pani_olenka the share number at the top by your name is the number of other people’s listings that you have shared. This number does not include how many times you share your own listings.

khochme @pani_olenka it is possible to see it if you search for it, but because there are so many listings it might be hard to find.

khochme But it should say shared as you share it.

khochme @pani_olenka your new man feed will show you who has shared your listings. You can click on their name and share theirs back. I found the more I shared, the more other people shared mine and the more followers I got. By attending a party you find new people to share and then some or all will share yours.

khochme @pani_olenka it may be a little slow getting started but after a few weeks you should gain followers and people sharing. And the more listings you have the more followers will join.

pani_olenka Hi. I have spent a bit of time reading your site, and I'm wondering if I have misunderstood the services provided by Poshmark. I'm an artisan who produces all of the items I sell myself, I have a brand of my own. It appears that your platform is meant for selling second hand or new items from recognizable global brands, is my understanding correct?

lemongrassgoth i love your felted clothing!! 😍 i also noticed the comment thread here and want to emphasize that you are absolutely welcome to sell your handmade art and things from your own brand on poshmark. lots of sellers do that here:) that said, you are right that the 'mainstream' seller demographic here are secondhand resellers. do you sell on etsy? etsy is great for selling art and handmade products!

pani_olenka @lemongrassgoth what`s the best party for my items to sell?
Feb 27Reply
lemongrassgoth
lemongrassgoth @pani_olenka Any party where you have eligible items, you can share them to!! By clicking on the Party Details, you can see what departments, categories, brands, or aesthetic the party accepts. And the last party of the day (7pm PT/ 10pm ET) is an everything goes party, so you can share listings to that one anytime.

lemongrassgoth More importantly, share every single item in your closet to your followers every day. This is the only way it updates the listing's time stamp, and increases the chances someone will find it. For example if someone searches for "handmade", all the most recently shared things will come up as results. There are soooooo many listings on this site that only those shared within the last few hours may appear. So you have to update every day.

lemongrassgoth Live shows are a better way to sell quickly than Parties. Unfortunately, only users with ambassador status can run a Show. HOWEVER. One large-scale seller, iriesposhdeals, hosts a show here on posh every other friday at 7pm PT, featuring items from various people's closets, just as a way to help people. I think you should include some of your items there! I'll tag you in her post in case you're interested in trying to feature a thing or two in her show this week!

pani_olenka @lemongrassgoth I have to tag items from my closet to show organizer and I could not find how to do it...i should do it from my closet? Thanks you.
Mar 02Reply
lemongrassgoth
lemongrassgoth @pani_olenka Yes from your closet! Go to your item listing, then add a comment tagging her @ username. She will see the notification! You do need to be around during the time of the show, so you can start the listing's auction price from your phone. Be aware that items sold from live shows are usually sold at much lower prices than what they are listed for. It may or may not be something you'd want to risk, depending on how much you want to pursue poshmark as your market ;)
