Hi Patricia. Nice to meet you. I countered your offer but wanted to let you know that I just dropped the price from$110 to the current price. I don’t think I’d go any lower. My feeling is that if there are no takers, I will keep that piece and wear it. This piece has never been worn. It ended up in the back of my closet and I kind of forgot about it. It was pretty pricey and Rudsak said that they could not keep that piece in stock. It’s a good one!

Can you tell me how much weight there is to this dress/duster? When I see satin I wonder if it’s very light and slippery. Is there a high sheen to it? Thanks for your information. I’ve bought quite a few things on Poshmark... I’m fairly new to this site and there’s been a few regrets but mostly treasures. Cheers

@patriciacharney it has great drape, not flimsy. If it was flimsy, it would be a static cling disaster! So the weight is good. This is one of those versatile pieces that really would look good over a lot of things.
It’s got sheen but not high sheen, more like a low lustre satin finish. I will try to take another pic for you.

I agree, I’ve had really good experiences - just one disappointment. You can find nice pieces to plug into your existing wardrobe, especially with past pieces from a designer collection.

@patriciacharney I checked the labels and no wash instructions. There was a security magnet strip that was cut off but otherwise all the labels are intact. I’m not sure about washing it or not. You could prob wash it but I would prolly just dry clean because it’s black and how often would you realistically have to do it?
Re Comfy USA for SURE would fit a size ten. It would go size 8 to 12. It drapes and is still plenty roomy. Yes it fully opens.

So you could definitely wear the smock that way but the magic happens when the collar is fully closed. It’s really flattering around the neck and face. And when closed, there is enough swing to see the white buttons poke out. It’s a great city piece for work on warm days or in the evening when you just want a light sleeve.

And because it has sleeves, and it’s dark, you can start wearing it in early spring. It would look great layered over a short tank dress and leggings. 👍

Not sure if you knew this but Comfy USA (also Sun Kim, another great line and one of my faves) closed about a year or two ago after the owner and designer became ill. Shame - no one really picked it up and it was such a cool and unique line.

Oh, and by “city piece” what I meant was that it could double as a really artsy jacket. I’m living more lakeside these days so I tend to reach for layers - sleeveless and a topper as you are always adjusting to temps depending on how close you get to the water. That was my deciding factor in listing it.

@patriciacharney I LOVE Planet! It is such a quality line. Sweaters to have forever because they have great shapes that are timeless.
With this particular sweater, I transitioned my hair to it’s natural gray - or “silver” as I like to call it - and I find that any hint of a pastel now makes me feel like a granny. No more light pinks or lilac tones either! But this sweater colour is really pale and pretty, like celery.
