halichar22 Hi Sabrina, the necklace is sterling silver so any colour change is just oxidation. To shine it up just put tin foil in a glass dish, baking soda and the silver. Pour a cup of very hot ( boil) water over top and let sit 15 minutes. Rub the silver between your fingers then rinse well. Any oxidation should disappear. Oils from touching or wearing cause sterling to oxide ( discolour) this method removes the oxidation without harming the jewelry.
