goldengoddesst @wildwoman1975 Hello. Our home was badly damaged in a fire in the beginning of June. It needs massive reconstruction. We cannot live in it. We are temporarily living in an apartment in the city we both work in. Our home is a 35 min drive from here .

goldengoddesst I work permanent nights at the hospital, 12 hour shifts. I'm on a st of 10 worked shifts in 11 days .... super short staffed due to rising Covid cases. We go out to our home every 3 days or so to collect mail. The shoes would have been delivered to our community mailbox.

goldengoddesst Tonight is my last night on this brutal set, and I will be able to get to the house and pick up mail tomorrow. I don't go to the house when I'm on a set of days as I loose about 2 hours of the 6-7 hours I have to sleep. I should be using it to actually sleep so I'm healthy for my next shift. Which is actually my # 1 life priority in these highly stressful days.

goldengoddesst @wildwoman1975 thanks for your getting it. I'm just going to say that I love my job... but sometimes it's really tough. Wave 4 of Covid is really hitting us hard in central AB. Stay safe where you are, and take good care of yourself !
