northberry Hey! I just saw your 2 star rating. I’m so sorry you weren’t pleased with the condition of the suede. I did mention that there was wear and I showed every angle of the boots in the photos including the suede on top of foot and on the side. The “excellent condition” takes into account much more than the suede. It includes the structure, the cleanliness, the soles, the insoles, the heels etc. It is my overall assessment. pacificthread @northberry Unfortunately your photos made the boots seem very black and in reasonable shape to match your "excellent!!!" rating as stated. The actual condition of the suede is pilled and worn out much worse than the photos depicted. Cute boots, so I will try and get get them refurbished.

I had noticed the elastic side sections were worn on the edges, so it's good to know there's some separation on the interior. like you said in the listing, if it can't be felt and doesn't effect their integrity, they can likely work for my needs. my current trail hikers are biting the dust and I need something that can handle the coastal walks.
