The only thing more fun than vintage clothing is my grandson Alex & Grand daughter Eevee I do it all for their future! I am a mother and a grandmother & a singer. I've done style work for the Martha Stewart, several bands & have had many pieces used in movies & TV. I love my 80 lbs pitbull pups Hansel & Gretel & big brother Gomez the 4lb chihuahua runs the show around here. Oh & my BF Ryan is ok to have around. Hehe. Haha. I have Alex every weekend though to give my daughter in law and son a break a bit! He's my little buddy. I'd have Em all living with me if my son could stand it. Haha.

Wow, I've been collecting for 40 yrs myself! iv'e been a fashion Designer and have designed garment for VS, and too many other manufacturers .I have been a clothing stylist ,colorists, and Fashion Photographer! I've had a good,fun filled life! but retired now!

@wayofthegoddess haha we have the same life. Most of my style work is for major bands. But I retired pretty much from music Industry two years ago. Got grand babies and didn't want to miss them grow up as I regret doing with my own kids. I toured most of their lives. Makes me sad now so I stay home and sell vintage now. Hehe. I'm loving it and still living the dream!!! ❤️💜🌴

@vintagevulture ,Yep I spent 22 years working as a top vendor for V.S. ended up traveling all the time! Got to Paris, Dubai, Sri Lanka, H.K.and loved it all. Miss the travel! I have a son in O.R. ,beautiful man, 27, he models prof. When he's not doing his boarding! So happy to meet the Vintys because at first I felt so out of this scene with all the Tori Burchers!

I'm new to the share group! I've been on Poshmark for about 3 months now and just hooked with @rmccouture who told me about the share group just yesterday! Tonight is my first time attending and sharing--I'm really excited and look forward to sharing everyone's listings and hopefully gain some new followers! @king311 welcome to the group. It's great and really helps with sales. All the ladies are fantastic & always willing to help. The share is easy once you actually do it one time Haha. I was frantic my first time. You'll get the final share list right before we are starting and you just go into each closet on the list and share the amount of vintage items stated in the final instructions. We all have the amount set up in the top of our closets beforehand

1. Sign up on the sign in sheet with your Vintage Share Code before 6:30 EST.
2. Make sure that you have ONLY vintage items at the top of your closet by the start of the share.
2. Make sure that ALL of the listings are marked as "vintage" either in the title of under the brand.
3. Share 15 items from the final share list, which will be posted as close to 7 as possible.

4. If you have less than 15 vintage items, take a screenshot of the "I'm a member of the VSG" and put it where your vintage items end so that people know to go back to the top of your closet to continue sharing until they reach 15.
5. If you have any issues, alert a share host (preferably the one whose closet is hosting the share, but you can contact any of us).
6. Have fun!

Andrea, sweetie!! Thanks for checking in and all the shares! I'm fine just super busy: planning a USA wedding for my son and daughter-in-law at the end of this month, and moving my studio from the place I've been for 12 years to a new location. And yesterday I drove my daughter from providence ( where we live) to NYC ( where she lives). Drove back today. Not much time left for poshing but it's all really good stuff. Got my grandson living under my roof with his parents since end of May. 😘💐😊😉

YW I think she did it because she wanted to get married in it and she did👍 on Halloween and then she gained weight and before she moved to LA she gave it to me. I don't like when people do it either but it actually turned out nice it does decrease the value but I think the cape is original still

If you're hosting (I've never done it), you are throwing the party and picking certain items to be host picks in a separate showroom. You pick the theme too, I guess. I think it is under help and support. Look there! I know you have to write in and it takes a while to get to throw a party. It gives your stuff way more exposure. Does that help? @sparrowsage

I got back yesterday from the GYNO. I have to do an ultrasound on my cervix to find out if I have cancer or if the Endrometrios has taken over my lower body. Either way, it's bad. I was really tired and upset last night, I went straight to bed I'm praying I'm going to be ok & while I lay in bed all day today, I will share everyone's Vintage items. I'm so sorry, I was not in my right mind and the crying didn't help yesterday. I'm on it right now. Thank You so much for your understanding.

@vintagevulture my baby chick. Started last night, took her to doc today. It got worse tonight of course. I'm wiped. My dog can't jump for 6 weeks, sprained groin, caging him in and out. Leashed in the house. 4 therapy walks a day. House is trashed. My back hurts from lifting Jax out of doggie playpen, I wish I was 30 again. Take care. Xoxo

it is great to meet you too! I love looking at the vintage pieces as my mother who is 75 always speak of how things back in the 40-60's and I am sure years prior and shortly thereafter the clothes and accessories were made so well. I have two mink collar sweaters from my grandmother and pictures of her wearing them on her cruises. also this back dress suit with curly lamb trim with hat and muffler. just fun to think back how things were back in the day.😊❤️

@fashionforme2 wow what amazing pcs you've been able to keep I love the fur collar cashmere sweaters they are so stunning & can be casual yet dressy. The Persian lamb trim suit sounds amazing too. Lucky gal. Not to be bossy but if you don't wear any of it keep it all folded in an air tight space bag. Never on hangers. The hanger will damage & weaken the fabric & the furs will dry out. I always recommend keeping all true vintage items folded never hung up. ❣❣❣

I have had the two cardigans with mink collars professionally cleaned they are silk lined too. they are discolored on the silk lining but no damages . stored folded in a plastic box. the seal fur with big round mink collar has been professional cleaned and stored in a cold closet. the fur professional told me the pelt is in excellent condition. I think the coat is early 60's or maybe late 50's .

Twice I have had a disagreement! Today a posher was holding a crown for me and she didn't know how to hold it a few days ago I talked her through it. At first she raised the price so nobody would buy it. Today, i got ready to buy it it was $15 more than before, i texted her twice and told her no response do i cancelled! Then i posted that she raised the price because when she was holding it it wasnt raised, she fired back at me. Plus I'm spending a lot of money but nobody's buying from me idk

@toryshop I do recommend it though If you sell modern it's good In my opinion to keep it separate in your closet or if you have a ton of it two closets. But gal I tell ya it's a lot of work. My second closet was for 60's 70's and 80's. I couldn't keep up with it all. I can barely keep myself listing enough for this closet. 😂😂😂. I'm gonna go take a peek in yours. @vintagevulture 2/2 I diligently do my own research and I was a dealer at one time; I was a vintage dealer, but mostly in vintage furniture & lamps. Often I'm unable to find the brand I'm searching for I clothing or a piece is missing a belt, so the piece sits patiently waiting for me to one day post it, along w/many others. We don't want to give our vintage pieces away, yet at the same time we want to provide an accurate price range for a vintage item.

Thanks so much!! Yes, my Charlie girl is about 3-1/2 now. She keeps me very busy! Love that girl to pieces! Can't wait to meet baby Lola ❤️ My husband & I waited a long time to have kiddos. I had mine young it was hard. the upside is I get to be a semi young grandma. I feel 109 most of the time. Oh yes the new hangover group. We are adding a few different share groups to the week to make it easier for ladies to participate since everyone has different schedules we thought if we have more time options it would be good.

Most women search by brand now. The sable mink wrap id bring down in price a little Bit wraps are a hard sell on here. That's just my two cents. I have a cleaner to turn you on too. It is called S-32. It is eco friendly and I have cleaned everything from my finest silk to my shop floor. It takes stains out right before your eyes.
