julieg1 Go Jayhawks, whoo hoo. Yeah Royals, Go Chiefs. I'm originally from Kansas, most of my family lives there. I have two nephews going to KU now and one graduated. I spent a lot of time in and out of KUMED center. KC is home. Glad to meet you. I tore my ACL as well, it sucked been about 20 years ago when they did surgery the hard way. We need PTs especially children's one, I'm guessing you're going in to sports PT though. Good for you. Julie

bed427 @julieg1 thank you so much for the shares! nice to meet someone from KS. i haven't met many on here! i would like to do sports PT as does all PT's when they are in school but i would really like to do geriatrics, actually. there are quite a few people in my class that want to do pediatrics (children). they will be great. your grandson is adorable. i hope he enjoyed his trip to Disney!

julieg1 Brianne it's good to meet you as well. I've had experience with PTs in all those fields, they are are great choices. My mom was in the Jewish rehab facility in western Johnson county in kc, that's one of the best I've ever seen. They were amazing, and the ones in the Bickford assisted living was as well. She had Parkinson's. The PT field requires a very patient but determined person. Best of luck.
