In January I Finished him, Augie. He's a Kerry blue terrier. Augie got his Championship! I Really love this breed, and he's my best friend. I'm sure you can relate with Max.

If they are your thing, they have super cute zodiac loafers that I love. Order at least a half size up. Even if they aren’t your thing - they fly off Poshmark because cult followers love them. mycustomcloset @marymax999518 lol. nope, but he has a Howl-o-ween bandana he wears. at Christmas he has a red sweater. he's got a lot of skin and he's kind of fat, so the red sweater makes him look like a stuffed sausage. 😁 all the neighbors make fun of him in that red sweater. it's an extra large too. he's kind of built like a bulldog. you need to come to Atlanta and meet Maxwell.

My granddaughter has a Husky and I envy her blue eyes, her name is Blossom and I used to talk to her and she would “talk” in response. Lol. Blossom is strong and could probably pull 5 sleds! Just saw Call of the Wild movie yesterday. Loved it. Read the book in grade school.

The Alaskans have a famous race, the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race every March. The Huskies pull sleds from Anchorage to Nome and entries from other states, don’t know if they allow Canadians, lol.

We used predictive modeling on my job and I say it’s best not to be discouraged by odds because sometimes that long shot wins! The Stat professor used to play the odds in Las Vegas! A group of MIT students formed a club and practiced until they were really good and hit LV and won big but were banned from the Strip casinos! So buy those lottery tics and Hunger Games quote: may the odds be ever in your favor!

marymax999518 Hi Robyn Been busy today. Mail delivery was at 5:15 pm and dashed out to the box and found 2 gifts for ME!! Opened, forget it Santa, not waiting. Lol Thank you for the Christmas gifts. I already hung up the Santa towel and will read the Rockwell book soon. I do like Rockwell’s art. :) I used to be a member of the LA County Museum of Art on Wilshire Blvd but when COVID came I stopped going and they did close for some time. Merry Christmas!

I have 12 days vacation to use, clearly will not get those done before the end of the year so I'm going to take Thursday and Friday and all next week off. marymax999518 @mycustomcloset Yes a lot of companies get busy with year end. Thank goodness you get to take some vacation time for the holidays. The Governor of CA used to give us a gift each Christmas by allowing us 4 hours off and people almost knocked me over running for those doors! Lol I did go the Govs office in LA when ARNOLD was the boss but never saw him coming and going. Helicopter pad on roof in LA but he had own special entrance!

Covid is still very bad in LA so glad I’m not working there any more but I do miss seeing all the skyscrapers decorated for Christmas.

I've actually had covid about three times. the first time it felt like the flu the second and third time it was like a sinus infection or head cold. LA was like panic in the city and everyone in masks and stores kept running out of hand sanitizer and people yelling about it! Stores were out of Covid tests and masks!!! When I went for the Covid booster a few weeks ago I waited 2 hours in line for the shot!! Seriously! I said this is crazy, I can’t believe how many people were there!

I travel so much. every time I've gotten it has been after a work trip. DC, Orlando are the two that stand out in my mind. the first time it was like the flu. the last two times, no big deal. literally it was a headache, runny nose. I couldn't even tell I had it unless I took the test.

(Hence the cat drawings on my meet the posher)We went to red lobster because I am Packers and he’s Giants. I did see Rihanna when we came home. I agree about the commercials AND the political garbage!!!!!! I like anybody who rescues any animal.Kiss your big boy for me!💋🐶🐾🦴

I will. that is Maxwell. 😘 he is my bub! anybody that rescues animals has a place in my heart. even though I'm a dog person, cats need to be loved and have homes too. thank you! sometimes I buy things on Posh and give them to the rescues to auction. it helps them raise money to care for all these animals in need. I do the same thing for elderly. so many in homes that are just forgotten. ❤️

All that watching wore him out, making him need a long nap. :) My daughter has a dog named Wolfie but he is kind of empty headed and ate part of the doggie door leading to the deck! Wolfie is not too bright and everyone hopes he will run away but he doesn’t. Each year Bostonians throw tea bags in the Harbor on the 4th, to protest the British tea tax, lol.

I can assure you she would never set foot in a pawn store. lol. in fact she bought these from Macy's. the last 19 years they've been in a bank vault and not worn, so I took them out around Christmas to list them on posh. they are at the appraisers now... hopefully I'll pick up Thursday.

marymax999518 Hi Robyn of Atlanta, Thank you for all the shares. 😀 I’ve been sick with a respiratory infection. Happened after a trip to the mountains and much colder air. Have previous bouts of pneumonia so my lungs said Where are the darn antibiotics? So I called the doctor and said I really really really think I need antibiotics. Yay for women doctors! I started my antibiotics today after a mix up at the pharmacy yesterday, grrrrrrr. Stay healthy, hope Max is doing great.

My Basal Cell has returned and I will have to undergo another surgery next month. Ughhhh This time I recognized the obvious mark from it and went to the family doctor who didn’t agree with my DX I got a referral and then a biopsy. I joined the ASPCA recently because domestic animals deserve to be treated well by humans and many don’t. Merry Christmas Robyn.

marymax999518 @mycustomcloset Hi Robyn, Yes people with light tone skin are more susceptible to get skin cancer. It’s strange it reappears in a different place each time but not too far from the first location. But undergoing its removal is still stressful, I think the needles are the worst. You had cancer in two unpleasant areas especially near your eye, that would be scary. I’m glad you have not had a reoccurrence. Merry Christmas to you and Kenny.

marymax999518 @mycustomcloset Thank you. I will have a different surgeon this time but same location. They told me not to go outside anywhere for a month afterwards, I will probably get cabin fever. 😀

marymax999518 @mycustomcloset Yes!! My granddaughter bought me a new hat, she got me a perfect pink straw hat which I really like. 🙂 So I’m doing my best to hide from the sun. I’m reading a book by John Steinbeck who was bor and raised in CA. He is a great writer so enjoying his story. I also bought a Faulkner book as I read one of his books while majoring in English in school. Faulkner is one of the greatest Southern writers but some novels of his difficult to read.

marymax999518 @mycustomcloset I had so much reading to do in my English classes I couldn’t really enjoy the books on my long list but now I can relax and appreciate the amazing talent of these people. I also had writing classes which were difficult too and sometimes my papers had red rashes from the professors!! Steinbeck grew up in central CA which is basically the bread basket of CA. I’ve been to some places Steinbeck wrote about. I’m reading East of Eden, about 2 farm families in CA.

marymax999518 @mycustomcloset My first paper in Advanced Writing looked like the professor had bought 2 dozen red pens and became a Slasher! She murdered my poor story with her red slasher pens and wrote murder filled notes on the edges. I didn’t know whether to bury it or burn the paper. I was in shock from just the physical appearance of my 5 pager! But then I thought I’ll show HER!!!!
