I started out the same as you, selling from my own closet, and now I've started reselling things I buy to resell. I source from retail clearance, consignment stores, secondhand stores, sometimes eBay. Do you follow thedealqueen or oscilatey on Instagram? They have awesome tips on reselling. The reseller community on Instagram is extremely helpful. Good to hear from you and thanks for the shares!! ♥️

fmrp Hey Darlin, you must think me a blow-hard that I haven’t gotten back to your gorgeous closet.. my koi pond was freezing over and I was working with frozen hoses all afternoon.. I was pouring warm water on the pump several times last night.. I triumphed somewhat and was able to get the core temp a bit higher. It’s a long story but I want to loiter in your closet again... 😘

closetobsessor @houseof999 hey! Glad it’s gone!! Yes, it’s true of the classic style bags. You’ll notice that the tag on fakes will often be too thick too. The authentic tag is comparatively thin piece of sharply rectangular leather. Yoogi’s Closet has a nice Balenciaga guide, Purse Forum is great too for learning the authentication points too. :)

I finally found the reference that said the leather tag should have black stitches and haven't heard a peep from her.
