lawyergirl79 @tengtaylor well thank you! My quick advice is law school is fun. Enjoy it 😄. And being a great lawyer or law student is mostly about doing your reading. I work in insurance defense. Vigorously defending the wrongly accused ;-). I love it ... Which is good since I work way too many hours. What law schools are you looking at?

tengtaylor I love reading so that's good lol. I'm planning to apply here at home, UNM, it's not the best but ranks pretty good by ATL. I got my MBA at UNM as well but recently developed a passion towards immigration law, few months back, while translating documents in a visa application for a friend of the family (I'm fluent in Chinese). So I'm kinda of scared because i don't know what I'm getting myself into lol, but excited at the same time for a new adventure 😁

lawyergirl79 @tengtaylor well that sounds great! Passion is very important ... You should enjoy what you do. Also, because you are fluent in Chinese you would in great demand in patent and trademark law. Coincidentally, I just listed to a news article on NPR on this and it a really growing area

tengtaylor Patent/trademark law...what an idea, I would have never even looked into that. Now I'm fascinated by that idea! Thank you so much for all the pointers so far!!!
