Hi everyone! I am an educator attempting to build a wardrobe that fits my school life and free time. I describe my current style as girly goth light. In my free time, a typical outfit is a concert tee + a skirt + boots or converse. I wear a lot of dark colors but enjoy adding a pop of color or fun print. When I'm working I tend to wear a mix of buisness casual type tops or appropriate tshirts + skirts(below knee or longer) or pants that are buisness casual/black denim + boots or loafers. My favorite items I have right now are: black vintage penguin dress, any Nate Bergman tee, disturbia skirt that has dragons on it, knee high docs, xl libraries rock tee.

ceruleancafe What degree are you working toward? My doctorate is in historical musicology. I’m a college professor. I used to perform a lot (singer) and now just play piano for fun and sanity. I’m so sorry the virus has messed up your studies. I think fall semester is going to be almost normal. I hope you’ll be able to get back to school. How much more do you have to do? tysonmusic @ceruleancafe I want to finish my bachelor's in special education, I have 6 classes left then student teaching. I really want to work in a middle school resource room You are the third person in a week that has mentioned playing music. Maybe a sign to get my old instruments out and try to play. What kind of music did you sing? Did you sing in a band? I always thought singing was therapeudic. I'm not good at it but sing when no one is around.
