We are right now looking into Colorado but played with the idea of moving north and buying acres and a farm. How is living in the country? Would love to hear about it!

My husband and I were just saying we want to make a trip there soon as neither of us has really explored it before and have heard nothing but rave reviews. :) Good thing is you are used to the cold and winter so that gives you lots of options! I am originally a MA girl so I sort of miss real winter - though 100+" of snow in the past month!?! Maybe not. 😉 It's been quite a transition for me because of location and such but also leaving my job (which I loved), friends, etc. and becoming a stay at home mama to my son for just a few months before welcoming our daughter! It's been an insanely nutty year and a half but the more we are settling into our new normal and enjoying the perks of small town life, I am making more and more peace with all of the change. I don't do things halfway so it only suits that I would change EVERYTHING about my life all at once. (Now including my wardrobe!) If you are over city life then I say go
for it! It would be especially wise to make a move before kids (if that's a plan of yours) so you have time to acclimate to one thing before another. :) Colorado is AMAZING - my SIL lives there and I sort of think you could get the best of both worlds out there? Think I saw in your closet that you're a nurse? That's incredible as you could find work ANYWHERE! How exciting. 😊
