It's party! And I just saw that you work for a non-profit! I did as well, for many years! But, as soon as my condition becomes somewhat manageable, I plan to take many weekend trips!!! I'm thinking San Fran, Yosemite, Monterey, Big Sur, Sequoia, etc! I also have other travel plans. My doctors have been treating the symptoms but they haven't been able to identify the cause of those symptoms. Today was a good day so I'm grateful. yukisan @loveeevintage hello my dearest! My energy has been somewhat down lately. I just started chemo yesterday. It’s oral and will be on it for 3 months. It’s not for cancer but for autoimmune diseases that i have. As with any other chemo, I’m a bit nervous about the side effects and risks but my doctor informed me the benefit outweighs the risks. So we’ll see!

Yes, with any procedure mild or extreme is natural worry and risks. It's never a thought that you'll have to go through these situations any part of your life. We are so blessed to have ex’s that love their child(ten). 😊✨ My ex-husband has been remarried since 2007. It wasn’t always smooth sailing but now, we welcome each other in our homes and enjoy glass of wine together when we get together! My kids’ step sisters come and stay with me often when they come to LA and I love them dearly! 💗

We are waiting for the lab results to come back tomorrow so we’ll go from there! I have been resting and today, I’m glad my fever is finally down! I’ll keep you posted!

yukisan @loveeevintage Mashed potato sounds great! I have a feeling you are an excellent chef!💗 My kids want one Japanese dish for thanksgiving! I’ll be adjusting my menu this year to start with cheese & crackers plates with prosciutto, bruschetta, and kale salad. Main course would be Japanese curry & rice, roast beef, garlic butter asparagus & baby broccoli, then fishing off with blueberry cheesecake. It’s not the typical thanksgiving dinner but I guess what matters the most is we are all together! 😆💗

yukisan @loveeevintage I’m super excited about meeting in person!!! Finally!! 💗 I try to visit them once every other year! The last time I visited them was 2 years ago. I had a surgery last summer and haven’t been the same... So I’m hoping next year will a better year so that my body can tolerate the long flight! It takes about 11.5 hrs to get to Japan. And to my island, it’s about another 3-4 hours by plane!

yukisan @loveeevintage I’ve been here since this Monday. I felt out of it since I started the chemo. The doctor took me off and put me on antibiotics last Monday. I didn’t feel better but worse with fever and chills. I happened to have an appointment with UCLA hematologist on Monday and my blood counts were off and she advised me to go to ER. Tturns out it was the antibiotics that caused an infection called c-diff colitis.

yukisan @loveeevintage The first three days were rough but I’m so glad I started feeling so much better yesterday. I have been in isolation unit but I have been able to receive some visitors who were willing to cover themselves up. 😂 My daughter has been here every day after school and a few of my friends were able to stop by yesterday.
