GbD stands for Gold Bond
Gold bonded jewelry is similar to gold plated in that a layer of gold is applied on top of another metal. However, gold bonded jewelry is always on a base layer of 925 Sterling Silver, and at minimum 10k gold- all our jewelry is 14k or better. Another benefit to gold bonded jewelry is the layer of gold is thicker than that achieved by plating, which greatly increases its durability and lifetime wearability.
