Mercer Amsterdam The Basket 88 leather hi-top sneaker, EU40, NWT

Mercer Amsterdam is a sustainable footwear brand founded in 2013. While this particular pair of handsome sneakers has a leather upper (Leather-working Group certified, of course), they also make fully vegan shoes using stuff like pineapples, apples, Italian grapes, sugar cane, and recycled ocean plastic. I'm fairly sure the box is labeled incorrectly - this is clearly a hi-top sneaker, very much along the same vein as the Nike Air Force 1. Also, the box is labeled Basket 89, whereas the shoes are clearly labeled 88. It's marked size EU40, which would usually translate to a US size 7 men's, but in this case the fit seems slightly large, so they should work for a men's 7.5 or 8, or a women's size 9.5-10. This pair is brand new in the box, in pristine condition.
