Messeca NY black leather Lenni lug-sole heeled platform bootie, 10, NWT

I bought this pristine pair of Messeca Lenni booties around 2011-12, I think (perhaps named after Lenni Kravitz? I'd like to think so!) I know I've enjoyed having them on display for ages - they're just so bold and self-assured. However, as usual, I've never worn this pair. Even the box is in perfect condition, which is unusual when ordering shoes online. They are a true size 10 and feature a lugged sole with a hidden platform totalling 1.5", a tall cylindrical 5.25" heel, a confidently pointed toe, and beautiful rose gold hardware plates for the lacing. While some might feel like this combination places the style in a more casual streetwear or weekend vibe, I would definitely wear them to kick all kinds of patriarchal, mansplaining ass in a corporate environment.
