There are losses of coating that do not impair perception (visible in the photo). Description. This pair from Cervantes' famous novel looks like they are made of brass, but we are not sure that it is brass. From the back it looks like black porous metal. The top is covered with some kind of coating. In some places this coating has come off and white metal can be seen. It is lighter in weight than brass, but heavier than foil. A little information. “The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha” is a famous work by the greatest Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes. In the center of the story is a distraught “knight” who is captive of his fantasies, the squire Sancho Panza and battles with windmills.
