Metlox Red Rooster Poppy Trail Oval Platter ~ California Pottery

Vintage Red Rooster Poppy Trail oval platter by the Metlox Poppy Trail featuring a red and brown rooster in the centre of an off white background and a brown band around the edge. This design was produced in Manhattan Beach, California from 1955-1979. Excellent vintage condition, no chips, cracks or crazing, there is a manufacturing flaw in the band on the rim (see last pic), minor surface wear indicative of age and use. Measures approximately 13.5” long and 10.25” wide.
