Mexican 925 Silver & Black Onyx Cuff Bracelet - Damaged

Bracelet has several damaged areas - I'd say this is in Poor Used Condition, has been in storage for some time. I've tried to clean the tarnish off the bracelet but its so bad I was unable to (See photos) Bracelet was handmade in Mexico meaning it lacks the precise cuts and angles as if it were made on a machine and favors uneven edges and finishes. However, one of the plates has been bent and is curled, this now prevents the hinge on the plate from swinging freely and it binds when one tries to clasp the bracelet. It can be done up (see photos) but the damage needs to be noted. As well there is another bent plate which does not impact a hinge, its just out of sorts (See photos). I believe the black decoration on this bracelet to be Onyx, though I am unable to confirm. Bracelet may be able to be repaired or possibly melted down to create something new, but I'm not a jeweler so I cannot guarantee this.
