This is a Chango Mezcalero, also known as a Mezcal Monkey. This collectible ceramic folk art item from Oaxaca, Mexico, traditionally serves as a receptacle for mezcal, a distilled alcoholic beverage made from agave. There are no markings and I have not had it authenticated. There is a paint mark on the side. Please check photos to see condition.
