The listing is for a vintage figural duck pate terrine made by Michel Caugant, a renowned “traiteur” of fine French foods. Different animal terrines were made with each form containing the pate made from the animal represented. Highly collectible, they were offered for sale in the Caugant luxury food shop in France. It is signed by Michel Caugant. The terrine is approximately 3.5" tall and 9" from the beak to tip of tail. It is in excellent used condition and shows no evidence of prior use.
