Vintage Brody Co. Glass Olive Green Vase commonly called avocado green by collectors of Brody
Mark with model number 6109 Because of this number It is the original company's mold Dating its production within the first 13 years between 1958-71
Marked E.O Brody Cleveland O. USA 6109 The Brody company designed the molds for their glassware but had the Indiana Glass company produce them for wholesale and upscale florist distributors. This glass colour is called olive by the Indiana Glass Co. The Brody company was bought in in the 2000 and now is apart of the Anchor Hocking Co.
The uneven surface of the glass is usually refer to as crinkle glass.The surface is designed to play with the light coming through the water while slightly obscuring the interior content. The form is a classic bouquet vase meant to support stems and arrangements by cinching stems near the middle. This vase size lends itself to many creative uses.
In very good vintage condition
There is 3 slight chips underneath the lip but not on top of it see last photo
This vase is 8" / 20 cm High At the mouth it is 6" / 15.2 cm and the foot is 4" /10 cm

The design to obscure the interior while letting light through without frosting was a smart twist that Brody came up with It might also helped with logetivity of bouquet arrangement prevnting the light heating the water easily I could be wrong about that but I know clear glass heats up and flower arrangements if that is what the vase is used for doesn't last long
