A friend brought this piece back from India some years ago. The design, with three strips of braided (or perhaps woven or knit) silver, ornate panels of embossed motifs and an embellished screw closure, was apparently quite traditional. The parts were most likely upcycled from a treasured belt. About 8 inches in circumference but is comfortable even on a small wrist. A particularity of this piece is that the screw works in the opposite direction to "normal" so lefty tighty, righty loosy! Unmarked but jeweller confirmed as silver. Weighs just under 40 grams. In excellent condition , with some patina.
Cross listed in Men's and Women's markets.
