Military Issue Gold and Black Belt Buckle

This appears to be a military-issue belt buckle, possibly a Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) (LdSH(RC)) brass belt buckle with crest. The central emblem features a hunting horn (or bugle horn) with a knotted cord. The buckle is made of gilt brass. It is attached to a deep dark hunter green / almost blackfabric belt. The design is associated with military regalia and accoutrements. Please check pictures for sign of previous use
