Beautiful Minolta SLR camera which I am only the second owner of. But **IT HAS NOT FILM TESTED - all speeds work fine - electronics work fine - the camera is a well-maintained example - small flaw: I patched the black piece on top of the advance lever with some light seal material**
If you buy it, read the manual.
In Manual mode, select the desired aperture and the camera suggests the speed with LEDs inside the viewfinder but can be ignored. It is a very straightforward system and is easy to learn. Select the aperture you want, match the LEDs to the proposed shutter speed, and depress the shutter. Also, the other way around is good too, select the shutter speed that usually suits your style of photography and make sure to adjust the aperture accordingly by matching the LEDs.
Features are:
Bright viewfinder with the shutter speed scale shown to the right
Electronically controlled shutter (the shutter will not work unless batteries are inserted)
Bulb mode
Max shutter speed of 1/1000 sec
Min shutter speed of 4 sec
ISO dial 12 to 3200
Takes 2xLR44 batteries (readily available), they last forever, just turn the camera OFF)
Self-timer
AE lock
Accessories included are:
2x LR44 batteries
Body mount cap
UV filter (**the glass is not glued to it anymore but holds in place when screwed in)
Neck strap
Original manuals
