It is time to part ways with my beautiful Minolta camera which I am only the second owner of.
The X-370 is an 80s 35 mm film SLR in the X series from Minolta.
If you buy it, make sure to watch plenty of reviews & how-to videos to learn how to operate the camera.
Here are some examples but the film was expired so the tint is not adequate.
It has a built-in Aperture Priority mode and by selecting the aperture, the shutter speed is auto.
In Manual mode, select the desired aperture and the camera suggests the speed with LEDs inside the viewfinder but can be ignored. It is a very straightforward system and is easy to learn. Select the aperture you want, match the LEDs to the proposed shutter speed, and depress the shutter. Also, the other way around is good too, select the shutter speed that usually suits your style of photography and make sure to adjust the aperture accordingly by matching the LEDs.
Features are:
Threaded shutter for cable release if someone wants to connect one
Bright viewfinder with the shutter speed scale shown to the right
Electronically controlled shutter (the shutter will not work unless batteries are inserted)
Max shutter speed of 1/1000 sec
Min shutter speed of 4 sec
ISO dial 12 to 3200
Takes 2xLR44 batteries (readily available), they last forever, just make sure to turn the camera OFF
