Model 550, Brown, Bates desk top stapler

This is a vintage Bates desk top stapler. Model 550, Brown. It has a good weight to it. There are some scratches on the paint surface. This stapler measures 7 1/5" long. It does not swing open to staple things on the wall but the top does open up to load the staples. Use Bates standard 550 staples in it. These staplers last a long time.
