Modernist Brutalist Guy Vidal Moon Crater Bracelet

Made by Guy Giles Vidal, from his Moon Crater series, this is a phenomenal Mid-Century Modernist Brutalist style oxidized pewter hinged bracelet. The wide three dimensional bracelet has a dark applied patina that enhances the textures and unusual shapes that cover the entire surface. The bracelet has a textured background of closely grooved lines that surround raised oblong, round and square sections that have a shiny border with a black interior and shiny raised dots. It's signed on both panels. The two panels are on a hinge and have an alternating groove and pin clasp with a safety chain. A nice size, the inside circumference is 7 inches( 19 cm circumference). An irregular shape, the inside diameter is approximately 2 1/4 inches wide. It is 1 1/2 inches wide and 1/8 inch thick. It weighs approx. 119 grams. The bracelet is in good vintage condition. The pin and groove clasp is tight and works as it should. Bold and artistic silver bracelet. Features intricate textures and patterns. Perfect for statement wear.
