Modernist Jorgen Jensen Pewter Necklace with Kayaking Figure, Mid Century

This is an amazing collectible piece of vintage Scandinavian jewelry. Made by Jorgen Jensen, the son of famous Danish silversmith Georg Jensen sometime in the 50s or 60s. The pendant has is decorated with an etching depicting a kayaker paddling among the fjords. The style of the etching is quintessential modernist minimalism. The piece was handmade by Jensen, as inscribed on the back alongside his name. This piece is timeless and could be worn today and is truly a unisex piece. Condition: some signs of wear and scratches on the pendant, but to be expected with age and that it is pewter which can be softer. The items I sell are vintage and may have some signs of wear.
