Mohair blend yarn for hand knitting or other fibre crafts

1 ball of Miss Tricot Filati “Kid Color” Mohair - check! Self-striping - check! Long colour repeats - check! Yardage for days - check! This yarn has it all! This is a cobweb weight (finer than lace weight!) mohair blend in sumptuous Renaissance-inspired colours of blue, rust, cream, orange, and black. Use on its own in a lighter-than-air shawl, or carry it along with a heavier yarn to provide halo and colour. The yarn has been discontinued and the company doesn't import much into Canada, so this is a rarity! The last picture shows the expected colour progression, but I think the printing is off, because it doesn't indicate the dark blue colour that can be clearly seen in the skein itself. I bought this in the States on a vacation some years ago, and I haven't been able to bring myself to use it. So it needs to go out into the world and find some other clever knitter to make something beautiful. 50 grams/545 yards 62% mohair 38% polyamide (nylon)
