In excellent condition (although intentionally distressed)! This is such a flattering pair of denim, but I have gained weight and the fit is now more skinny than straight on me. I have integrated an elastic inside the waistband (it's concealed, see 3rd pic) to avoid gaping at the waist and I have added a patch at the knee where there was a tear (same color and shade as the rest, also seamless, see 4th pic). veronicaa_z Do these fit true to size 27? I have another mother pair that is 26, which fits, but normally am a size 28 in Levi’s. Thank you!!

genevievecolour @veronicaa_z The waist is 30", which is slightly bigger than a true 27", but this is usually the case for most brands (they never measure exactly their number size). They might be a bit big if you usually size down in Mother, but with the elastic waist there is no gaping. Size in jeans are so inconsistent! I have to size down in Levis and you size up! 😅 I would recommend measuring the waist on your usual jeans (if the rise is similar to this pair), so you might have a better idea 😊

veronicaa_z @genevievecolour thank you so much for such a detailed reply! I think with the elastic waist it’s perfect!!! I’m mainly more concerned about the butt/hip fit. Is it a super tight fit for a 27? Or is the fit supposed to be a more baggy style? I’d prefer not a super super tight fit

genevievecolour @veronicaa_z It depends how curvy you are! I have a bit more booty than average and it's form fitting around the hips and butt, but not skinny. I wish I could take a picture wearing it but I broke my foot and tore my Achilles tendon while rock climbing and I have a cast so I can't wear any pants right now! Let me see if I can find a picture of me wearing them.

genevievecolour @veronicaa_z Thank you! 💖 The only pic I could find I have a coat on unfortunately! I do think that they look a bit skinny around the legs, I think that's why I had decided to sell them. As much as I can remember, on my body the hip/butt part was fitted and the legs were a bit tight, which looked too much like skinny jeans. I'm not sure that it's the look you are going for, and I don't want to sell them to you under false hope and have you disappointed!
