T.H. Sandland Antique Trinket Box 'Mrs. Gamp'. Sairey Gamp, Mrs. Gamp as she is more commonly known, is a nurse in the novel Martin Chuzzlewit by Charles Dickens, first published as a serial in 1843–1844. It has become a huge collector's item over the years because of Charles Dicken's value. The inside Hallmark is "Lancaster Sandland Hand Painted in England by T.H. Sandland" which is on the inside of the lid and on the bottom with the number #424 From 1944 the business was renamed Lancaster & Sandland when Sandland became a partner in the company.
