bcleeanderson @jamiemtyler54 Hi, Jamie: Thanks for your question about this duffle bag. If I understood it correctly, this bag from the side view is shaped like a rectangle. The top handles can be laid flat to the sides. Please see the last three pictures I added to this post. Let me know if I explained fully to your question.

jamiemtyler54 @bcleeanderson Hi 👋 Thank you for your reply and extra info👌 I realize that I didn’t make it clear enough before because I meant when the bag is zipped up can the handles slide on the rings and lay on the sides of the bag. I hope this makes sense to you. Thank you ☺️

jamiemtyler54 @bcleeanderson Yes 👍 your explanation is very clear and thank you very much for all the effort,details and extra photos. I am looking for a carry on bag and the airlines are pretty strict so it can’t be more than 45” total and the handles would be part of the total measurement. I will keep your bag on my loved ❤️ list though!
