I love my closet but always up for an excuse to replace an item too :) Prices are based on love, or how much it will cost me to shop for another. I priced each item as I thought was fair and rounded up. $500-600 is 50%, which when you consider the items and how you price, isn’t realistic. I absolutely want to close this, but you have to be reasonable and work with me. My offer is fair, I think.

chaudang @caraglv 13 items for $300? (I won't count the picture frame) If $300 is your budget, I can do half the items but you added a lot of really nice items in there. The clover canyon dress is brand new and really expensive. The peacoat is expensive too. I don't know how you're pricing it but maybe you can offer individually and maybe get the price you want. Even $600 is a stretch for me.

caraglv @chaudang I understand where you are coming from. However, this is resale, and the price has to reflect that. The value drops significantly when it’s sold by an owner, and is only what the market warrants, even when brand new. Based on my research of similar items, and my knowledge of retail pricing, I valued the two priciest items combined at around $100. Then the others average around +/-$20. I cannot see how the majority of items would be valued at $40-$50.

ellewds So this is why you list some items for several hundred dollars more than what they retailed for when new at the store. (Namely the Antonio Melani coat you list for $800 that retailed for ~$200 back when it was in season.) Def a unique philosophy since resale items are worth less than new ones bought at the store. Your personal love for an item does not actually increase its worth; what’s valuable to you doesn’t mean that item has real world value. But at least you’re honest here. Happy holidays!
