My Vintage 1977 Prom Dress

I went to two proms in 1977 - my school prom and my boyfriends (last photo)🤯😝 Only one dress survived - this stunning black beauty with rhinestone décolleté. Simple clean lines with an empire waistline (elastic is shot in it but could easily be replaced or wear as is). Delicate shoulder straps custom sized for me and embellished with rhinestones. Back zipper. Slightly flared skirt profile. Fabric was probably a poly/viscose blend. It has a nice feel and drape. Besides the elastic the only other flaw is a pinhole sized hole at the top back - see photo. Fabric has a slight sheen to it. Fully lined. No odour or stains. Perfect for the lover of vintage evening wear. I wore elbow length white evening gloves with it. Purchased in a Yorkville boutique. Custom fitted so no size tag but I wore a 4 back then.
