Hi, great skirt. You may wish to post measurements because not all CL tags are French sizes; some are Italian. I'm a 36 FR, 40 IT, and the CL skirt I bought in Vancouver in '98 is a size 40.

That would be the logical assumption, but weirdly enough, it isn't the case. I think the practice perhaps was to use French sizing when sold in France but Italian sizing when sold outside of France, since most North Americans and Europeans are more familiar with Italian sizing. It caught me out once: I bought a size 40 dress and a size 40 skirt from the same buyer in Australia; one item was French 40, one was Italian 40. The French 40 is two sizes too big. :-(
