Nike Air Force Low “Harris Tweed” - DEADSTOCK You might not know this one. I love all the Nike tweed (kind of a small obsession), but I haven’t gotten this one in my size yet. This shoe was designed in collaboration with Harris Tweed. Harris Tweed is handwoven by islanders in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland and finished there too. It’s made of pure virgin wool dyed and spun on location. The origins are from the mid 1800s, but Harris Tweed became a company in 1896. The tab inside the sock liner notes that the shoe has Official Harris Tweed, and that is a legal requirement since Harris Tweed holds themselves to a high quality and standard and the tweed needs to meet those standards to become official. The laces are a beautiful light pink, the same light pink featured on the swoosh. This AF1 is known by some as an “inside out.” The colours, textures, and materials are immaculate. This pair is DS, new (conditional). There is a light mark on the outer toe of one shoe seen in the video. Other than that, a beautiful pair - never worn. M8/W10 OG box (damaged).
