joeydepalmer65 1. Is there a hole in the tong? 2 can you tell me what the date says on the inside? and 3. do the dates match?

sophieseashells @joeydepalmer65 These boots are de-militarized hence the holes in the tongues. Regarding the inside numbers, both boots have the same sets of numbers: 1200. 9 91/2F 6603. I’m unsure as to a “date”.

joeydepalmer65 they where the last pair design of this type. the mark 2s were the first (with the little exception of the lace holes) and these where the last. they went with the (than new) cadpats when the powers at be did not like the cadpat coloured boots. they did not see much use with the old combat uniforms
