@atatianastad Hi, I would say true to size. If you’re an extra wider foot though it’ll be too snug a fit.

@beyond_ordinary I’m struggle to answer that because what each person considers “medium width” is different. The shoe as its widest point is about 3.15”. I’ve added a photo. And of course it’s leather so may stretch over time (or at the shoe cobbler) if you need more width. Does this help?!
