I’ll do my best to explain. :) I find with age my feet have grown. So I used to be an 8 and now I am an 8.5. But I’m only finally accepting this. I should have bought an 8.5. I do believe these are a true 8. You try looking at online reviews to see if others rate them as true to size.

@melaniebrake73 I think if you’re on the smaller size of 8 these will work well. They are a little wider than a typical women’s shoe because they are a more rugged design.
