@ycp001 thank you for your prompt and detailed reply. I am glad that it is a rich brown, I suppose it is not easy with the lighting/ phones to render true to life colour. Is 6.99 shipping a promotion offered by Poshmark or rather by yourself. I am very interested, I feel a bit bad to ask if you could offer a slightly lower price ? I understand if you cannot.

@aturumbetov hi there pit to pit is 20 inches and I took a second look at the tag and it does say made in Romania. I have corrected the listing to reflect that. This is pretty much a brand new cardigan that was bought from Holt Renfrew Akris. Hope this helps.

@ycp001 thanks for the measurements. I appreciate taking time to check the label. This is so disappointing Akris uses Romania more and more instead of Switzerland.
The pieces I own are either vintage or not from the most recent collections, 98% were made in Switzerland which is very important to me in terms of human rights and working conditions. Romania is one of the poorest countries in EU. I also heard that the quality had gone down after Akris started outsourcing in Romania. I am sad :(

@aturumbetov I’m sorry about this. I can’t do anything about the working situation in certain countries but I certainly do not agree with any of the exploitation. The cardigan itself is very beautiful woven though.

@ycp001 I don’t think Romanian workers are subject to human rights violations compared to workers in Vietnam, Cambodge or Bangladesh but still Akris makes 5000 dresses but they are no longer made in CH or Italy all that because they don’t want to lose their profits and this is what upsets me. Ok transfer the operations to Romania but don’t ask 5000 d’or a dress made in Romania
