northernvibes Hi! The velvet fabric is 5% elastane, with a lot of stretch. The inner lining isn’t very stretchy, but is only tacked to the velvet exterior in some places, which means it hangs somewhat independently. In my opinion it would be pretty easy to alter if you needed a little extra space and wanted to take advantage of the stretchiness of the velvet.
