pumpkinsoda @ericahenze These are vintage deadstock from many years ago, probably older than me! Therefore, they may have picked up scents from wherever they were stored before as they are old unsold stock from an unknown retailer (Deadstock). This is to be expected with anything vintage as per definition, vintage pieces are 20 years or older.

pumpkinsoda @ericahenze On my end, my home is smoke free and all of my items are stored in a separate room from the living areas where my cats are. I inspect everything I sell before shipping to buyers to make sure everything looks neat. All my items are eighter cleaned, washed or steamed before selling depending on the type of item. NWT items like these jeans cannot be washed before selling as the tags are still attached. These are 100% cotton.

pumpkinsoda @ericahenze PS: If I may give a piece of general advice, it is recommended to wash anything you buy, retail or vintage before wearing, no matter where it was purchased. Many brands even instruct in small print on their tags to wash before wearing, but no one reads fine print sadly.
