NWT Dolly and Dotty Vintage-Inspired Turquoise Swing Dress US 12

Out of stock on the website, this sweet vintage-inspired Dolly and Dotty Annie dress is perfect for summer. My phone is unable to capture the colour correctly. It is a dark turquoise, almost a teal, as shown in the stock photo. Made from shiny/silky lightweight poly knit, this dress has a pretty light sheen and moderate stretch EXCEPT in the waist. Fashioned with box pleats setting off a full, swingy skirt, a long hidden back zip closure, vertical bust darts, and POCKETS!! this sweet dress is a dream. It is NOT lined but it is a tight weave and there is no need for a slip. I am a big Dolly and Dotty fan and own a few other dresses from them. This one did not work for me for two reasons. I'm 5'4 with a short waist and the waist hits me at a weird spot, just below my belly button. For that reason, the waist is snug on me, whereas my other size 12 Dolly and Dotty dresses fit perfectly. So word to the wise: This is better for taller people (I would say at least 5'6") or those with an average to long torso. Tried on but never worn. Tags are still attached.
