midtown_jen @crobertson436 Hello! I would say they fit a bit larger than a 27 / 28. I'm typically a size 4-6 or 27-28 US or EU 36 / EU 38 in pants (in the brand Sezane). I found these to be just a bit loose in the waist / hips. They are a high waisted denim, so that could be why the waist measurement seems like it would fit smaller. It may also depend on how you'd like to wear these—I prefer my denim to be more fitted (without being too tight) rather than loose. I hope that helps! :)
