lululemons877 @lapinluxuries hi! The trim is not removable . You would need to remove the whole hood unfortunately. If you have a similar style moose knuckles I find all the hoods to be compatible. You just need to be sure the fabric matches

lululemons877 No worries! No the shearling was never with the causapcal . It was always fur . The hood is from the style called onyx anguille .
