Early 20th century tribal multi-strand glass seed bead necklace from the Naga people in Northern India. This beautiful piece is made of 30 strands of champagne coloured seed beads. These very old handmade beads have natural variations in size and colour. The necklace has a natural jute macrame collar. It closes with an antique toggle clasp that uses a 1906 British India 1/4 One Quarter Anna Edward VII copper coin. This amazing piece is in excellent vintage condition with a natural darkening of the jute collar and some wear to the coin.
