Napoleoni tan cross-strap platform sandal, 39/9-9.5, EUC

I wore this pair of Napoleoni leather platform sandals a handful of times over the course of one summer, maybe 7 years ago, and wasn't able to wear them after that. But they are beautiful and quite comfortable, reminiscent of some Chloé platform styles without any overt plagiarism. These sandals feature an all-leather construction with wide straps crossing over at the arch, one of them elastic - so there's no fussing with buckles or zips - and beautiful, chunky gold-tone hardware accents. The heel measures 4.5", with a 1.5" platform, so these are comfortable for all-day wear. I did, however, insert gel-pads at the balls of the feet, covered with moleskin for comfort, which I'm leaving in place. They should be easily removable. You may just need to use a bit of isopropyl alcohol if there's any adhesive residue. They are marked size 39 and were being sold as size 9, which at the time fit my feet perfectly. To be fair, they still fit my size 9.5 feet perfectly, although my toes do go right to the end. This is one of those instances. of Italian sizing fitting on the larger side. There's some slight scuffing on the soles and minor creasing of the strap around the back of the heels, but they're otherwise in excellent condition.
