Native American Indian Wall Mask

A wall mask that I haven't run into before -it looks like it is the face of a native American Indian. It has a headband with a diamond shape in its center and its hair is in a braid. It used to be covered in gold paint but that is mostly gone. I am not sure of the material -it may be wood that has been covered or it may be a type of resin. It is 10" tall from the bottom of the braid, 7" in width and 2 3/4" deep.
