Navajo authentic horse hair Pottery Heart Shaped Box and vase set Beige Black

This is an authentic Native American Navajo Horsehair Pottery set. These one of a kind pieces are hand made and etched. During the firing process the artist throws strands of horse hair onto the pottery at the perfect time creating these unique pieces. The set includes a heart-shaped box and a small vase. The box is approximately 5 inches in diameter and 2 1/4 inches tall. It has a black and white design with a horsehair finish. The vase is approximately 3 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter. It has a similar black and white design with a horsehair finish. Both pieces are in good condition with no visible chips or cracks besides an area on the underside of the box where some glaze has come off. Shown in photos. The box has a small inscription on the bottom that reads "Horsehair Navajo". The vase has a few indescribable letters. Both pieces are made of clay and are hand-painted..
